n April 12 Legacy was delighted to receive Prince Yemisi Shyllon, a renowned art collector, philanthropist and Grand Patron of the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Arts, Pan Atlantic University, as a visitor to Jaekel House Mini-Museum, along with Dr Matthew Gansallo, a curator and museologist. The visit was organised by Mr Taiye Olaniyi, Legacy Vice President, other members of Legacy were present, including Lateefah Olajide, Legacy’s Hon. Secretary.


Prince Shyllon commended the work and efforts of Legacy on the restoration of Jaekel House and starting the Mini Museum. He shared his wealth of knowledge and advice on what could be done in terms of improving the museum experience, making it more professional and efficient, and attracting more visitors and corporate sponsorship. Mr Olaniyi said that Legacy appreciated the visit and thanked them as professionals in the field for sharing their advice and ideas and promised to work on the things that had been suggested.
