Landscape Architecture and its role in Heritage Conservation.

Explore the discipline of Landscape Architecture and its role in heritage conservation through the experience and research of a Nigerian landscape architect Tobiloba Akibo. The presentation, which will be followed by a question and answer session, moderated by Kofo Adeleke, will examine the role of landscape architects in heritage conservation and the importance of preserving and restoring historic landscapes.

The webinar will look at Nigeria’s rich, but not well- documented, landscape history with a focus on the mysterious Palaver Islands and will also touch upon other examples of historic landscape sites across Nigeria.
