Culturati Africa, a leading organization dedicated to cultural preservation and promotion, recently visited Jaekel House, home to Legacy 1995, a non-governmental organization committed to the preservation and restoration of significant structures in Nigeria.

The visit, led by Ms. Badejo, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Culturati Africa, aimed to explore potential collaborations between the two organizations and gain a deeper understanding of Legacy 1995’s work.

During the visit, Ms. Badejo expressed her admiration for Legacy 1995’s efforts and emphasized the importance of preserving Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. She believed that a strategic partnership between the two organizations could significantly contribute to these efforts.

Mr. Taiye Olaniyi, the President of Legacy 1995, warmly welcomed the Culturati Africa delegation and expressed his enthusiasm for the potential collaboration. He highlighted the need for joint initiatives to preserve, restore, and promote Nigeria’s heritage.

Mrs. Nwokedi, the Board of Trustees Chairperson of Legacy 1995, shared the organization’s history and the challenges it has faced in acquiring and preserving its buildings. She emphasized the importance of continued collaboration and knowledge sharing among organizations working in the field of cultural heritage.

The visit concluded with a tour of Jaekel House, the Old Running Shed (ORS), and the Ilukwe House, providing the Culturati Africa delegation with a firsthand look at Legacy 1995’s projects and initiatives. The visit ended with exchange of souvenirs.

As a result of the visit, Culturati Africa and Legacy 1995 are committed to exploring opportunities for collaboration and partnership in the areas of cultural preservation, restoration, and promotion. The two organizations believe that their combined expertise and resources can make a significant impact on preserving Nigeria’s cultural heritage for future generations.
