The organisers of Indigenous Textile Futures – Survival and Legacy of Indigenous Textile Heritage in Changing Climate thanked Legacy members Oliver Owen and Kofo Adeleke for their participation and presentations during the conference held in May.

It was organised by the University of Exeter, University of Lincoln, University of Ibadan and the Federal University of Technology Akure and funded by the Sub-Saharan African Development Fund, University of Exeter.

Oliver Owen presented ‘Looking into the Future: Indigenous Textiles in Research and Practice’ and Kofo Adeleke presented ‘Out of the Earth – Saving Indigenous West African Textile Processes’
